Dear Great Agent,
Just wanted to say thank you again for setting up our reservations for Hawaii. We had a wonderful time and we were upgraded to a deluxe ocean front room! We were truly spoiled with this upgrade and willneverwant to have any other type of room moving forward! LOL
Our next adventure is going back to Disney to see the Xmas decorations so if you hear of any great deals please let me know. Thanks again!
Just wanted to let you know that Dee and I arrived home from Cancun Sunday night and had a wonderful time. The Paradisus Cancun was great, although quite sprawling, and getting the Royal Butler Service was well worth it. We had a private adults-only pool with our own poolside restaurant and bar. There were many other extras too. All the restaurants were good, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the booze was flowing. The weather was perfect (mid 80's and sunny everyday). And Yes, the many shades of blue water are quite a sight! Thanks for your help.

We got married on the resort and had a wonderful time. The wedding coordinator, Pamela Gonzalez, answered all of my questions through e-mail in a timely manner leading up to the wedding. She was flexible with the small touches I wanted to add to our day. She was very understanding of the fact that we were planning a wedding from a distance.
She met with me two days before the wedding to review all of our details. She told us where to meet her for our quick rehearsal the day before the wedding and walked us through everything. On the day of the wedding, she was so attentive. She took care of setting up all of my ideas and even collected everything by the end of the night and put it in our room for us. We did not have to worry about one detail all day! As the bride, I did not have to worry about one thing and was able to enjoy the day. The wedding officiant did a wonderful job, and her words about marriage were beautiful. She was so nice and down to earth. My family and friends have complimented our ceremony many times. We did not have anything to do with what was said during the ceremony. I was a little apprehensive about this, but I can honestly tell future brides to not worry about it. I was very pleased with the officiant. At the end of the cocktail hour, Pamela offered us an upgrade to the Grande, free of charge, for the remainder of our visit starting the next day. She truly took care of us and made our whole wedding experience stress free and fun.
Every restaurant we took our wedding party to had amazing food and a great staff. We reserved a space for our "rehearsal dinner" at the Japanese restaurant and our wedding dinner at the steak restaurant. We did not request a private dinner for our wedding dinner, but Pamela had our wedding party in a separate room away from other hotel guests, which was very nice of her. The manager on duty for the night at the steak place was very friendly and attentive. He told us to let him know if anyone wanted a specific kind of drink, and he would gladly get it.
The wedding package had so much to offer. The flowers included in the wedding package were beautiful and the wedding cake was delicious. As a bride planning your wedding with Iberostar, I would not worry about those details not being as good as vendors back home. The champagne, open bar, and cold appetizers on the beach right after the wedding ceremony was a hit with our guests. It was so nice to stay on the beach, in our roped off area, and hang out with our friends and family right after our big moment. We chose to have the three piece band play during the cocktail hour; it was a great touch!
I was also very pleased with the services at the spa. My maid of honor and all of the bridesmaids were happy with their "up dos" and make up. I am disappointed I can't remember the name of the lady that took care of my hair because she did an amazing job. I showed her a picture during my hair trial, which is included in the wedding package, and she was able to create the hair style. It turned out even better than I hoped on the day of the wedding. A few days later, we got a couple's massage as part of the wedding package and enjoyed that morning at the spa as well.
Also included in our wedding package was a romantic dinner on the beach. The night we scheduled our dinner turned out to be very windy. Pamela offered us the option to eat our dinner inside the Presidential Suite at the Maya, which we decided to do. The room was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and our personal waiter was friendly and attentive. Our chef was Bernardo Hernandez and our waiter was Romi Tamay; I highly recommend requesting them for your private dinner. I can not rave enough about our vacation and wedding experience at Iberostar.
I also can not say enough about our travel agents, Linda and Karen, at Starship Travel in Arlington Heights, Il. They took care of travel and hotel for our party. Both of them worked hard to get our guests the best deals and prices. They also accommodated flight days and times. We had about 40 people in different cities flying in and out of Mexico on different days. They worked with everyone's schedules and made sure all ground transfers to and from the airport were taken care of. They really proved that they are group destination wedding specialists like they advertise.
