Vacation to Hawaii. We needed flights and hotel reservations for 2 different islands in Hawaii, and didn't know how to go about getting this done with going from one island to another without delay.
Everything went great. The hotels were rated 4.5 and 5 on each island. She also gave us some ideas for sightseeing. We were right on the beach, exactly what we ask for. Everything was close by...from parasailing to helicopter ride. Also had a sunset sail for whale watching. Everything was beautiful! We will definitely use them again. Ask for Voula. She is wonderful and really worked with our budget.
I realized that we never got back to you on our trip to Venice.
Overall, an awesome experience! The apt Ca Rossini 2 was perfect. Great location and very comfortable. Not sure where to start really, but I would say staying in an apt is the way to go in Venice. You become a Venetian....shopping at the grocery store (Coop) right around the corner and the Rialto market...maybe a 10 minute walk.
We were pleasantly surprised that just about all restaurants we hit, had gluten free items! Although we cooked our meals at the apt much more than going out.We visited San Marco plaza multiple times, attended Easter mass at the Basilica as well, did the Doge Palace tour (a must), took the boat to Burano which was much better than we expected. Had a great time there.
We climbed the La Scala building, did a gandola trip of course, enjoyed plenty of gelato, had our first Venetian Spritz! and took a thousand photos.Well I'm just rambling now, but there was more..
Thank you for arranging the apt. Our contact at Views on Venice (Marta) was very helpful when we arrived. She helped carry our bags from the boat to the apt and spent nearly an hour going over everything including the local sites.Thank you!
Our trip to Turks and Caicos was great! We went there about 7 years ago and stayed at the same place, Royal West Indies Resort. It was just as good this time. It is not a huge resort but is easy to get around, has two pools, a great restaurant, which we dined at a few times and a nice bar. They had happy hour every night from 5-7 with half price drinks. It was always crowded with guests and locals. Their beach area is wonderful (on Grace Bay) with several chairs. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
If we went back again we would definitely stay at the same place. One couple we spoke to said this was their 7th year in a row and another just hit their 8th year, so I guess that says something. One man said it is a "hidden gem".
The weather was beautiful while we were there and all of our flights were on time.
